Looking Back and Looking Ahead….

Fifteen years ago, His Lordship the Bishop L. Thomas Aquinas entrusted me the responsibility of initiating a social service organisation to empower the poor and the marginalised in the districts of Erode and parts of Tirupur and Karur districts. The move was timely and the hard work did result in “CEEMA” serving the poorest with its wider perspective and with its commitments to the marginalised.

CEEMA became the landmark for service and its advancement with empowering skills profited the poor with knowledge, skills and techniques apart from ensuring the right tools to fight and to survive amidst the forces that stood against their development. It is heartening to see the poor having access to the livelihood sources and poised to become independent through several joint ventures.

As a founder, I do not have anything to boast except that I am privileged to have started the leadership and dedicated and inspired leaders are now continuing the good works of the organisation. I wish and pray that the team of CEEMA be inspired by high ideals and a sense of service.

I wish that CEEMA’s culture of dedicated service continue to reform, transform and allow its primary stakeholders to perform well for the growth and sustainable development of the society.

Congratulations to CEEMA on conclusion of its 15th year! I love and admire you!
