Project Experience

CEEMA has exposure and experience in the following completed projects..

  • AKSHAYA – Micro Credit- corpus fund was given to women federation to lend among them with lower rate of interest. It was people owned, transparent and sustainable.
  • CHAHA –Caring and supporting children infected/affected with HIV/AIDS
  • Caritas Prague’s Development Programme – providing counselling and knowledge related to SRH, enhancing life skills training to adolescent boys and girls.
  • SUBIKSHA- Integrated programme for empowering the marginalised women in decision making ,local bodies, health,education for children,empowering the adolescent girls, promoting children parliament,IGP and miocro credit.
  • JEEVA –goal is to promote life and prevent suicide, by adopting comprehensive intervention strategies.
  • Initiating development intervention (UDHAYA)-women are capacitated to address economic, health and social –cultural issues.
  • Mahalir Thittam- Ceema has been implementing the women development programme (SHGs) since 2005.

  • NCLP(National Child Labour Programme) –the drop outs, child labour children are admitted in special school and prepared for mainstreaming them by placing them into regular school. The district collector office supported the project.
  • NGOs Network for Education and Empowerment (NNEE)-Ceema have an experience of net working with NGOs on various sectors of development field.
  • The Hunger Project- ensuring women participation in local bodies
  • Dalit Minority Development Programme (DMDP)- Providing adequate educational support to students from Dalit community along with remedial education for them, organising programs to empower Dalit women through skill training and income generation activities and extending a helping hand to the members to meet their basic physical needs.
  • Care and support for cancer patients- the project was launched in 2016 by Ceema with public support to meet the cost for cancer affected children and fund collected was being used for nutrition support, hospital linkages, counselling,transport facilities,expenses for care taker, palliative care linkages,t reatment support etc.,
  • Kolping Computer Education Centre- a computer centre was opened for the poor students and lower fee was collected. Basic courses, tally course was being taught.
